Gregory Myra received his Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance in 2009 from Dalhousie University where he studied with Professor Peter Allen. In 2013 he graduated with a Master of Music in Collaborative Piano from University of Manitoba under Dr. Laura Loewen. He’s worked as staff pianist at Dalhousie University, for the Halifax Summer Opera Festival, Opera Nova Scotia and the Dalhousie Chamber Series. His collaboration with cellist Catherine Little has resulted in the 2020 release Taking Five (winner of the Nova Scotia Music Award for Classical Recording of the Year) and the 2024 release Light & Dark.
